3rd South South Institute Conference
Last week (5th Nov to 10th Nov) I helped out at the South South Institute Conference on sexual violence perpetrated against men and boys.
There were a lot of key talks at the conference. I helped by providing audio and visual support.
The Sunday before the conference was a guys only workshop, then afterwards, those of us who were a part of the Bristlecone Project went to the Canterbury Museum to preview the exhibition.
My picture was giant!
On the second day I met former FBI agent and writer/producer of Criminals minds, Jim Clemente. I got his autograph and a souvenir FBI badge. A very nice guy, I hope to see him in LA one day.
The 5 days went really fast.

Satisfied Customer
“I am writing to say how impressed I was with the service and quality of the work from Sword Productions. Raymond was commissioned to video my wife’s 40th birthday party and produce a short video. The video was edited very well and captured all the key moments and people. I would recommend using him for any video requirements.”
Waitaki Candidacy for General Election
I ran as a candidate for Waitaki In the 2017 General election. The position is currently held by Jacqui Dean.
I came second to last with 157 votes, click here for my results.
I entered into this as a learning experience, it was fun and interesting. During my campaign I attended one public meeting, in Waimate.
I want to do Toast Masters next year to improve on my public speaking.
Jullian says
“On a recent project, Raymond was extremely organised and prepared, using high quality technology with skill and expertise. He was always approachable when directing cast and crew members, and was able to work flexibly within a tight time constraint and budget. Can’t wait to work again with him!”
